Enchanted woods and meadows ...
The little wood, ‘Cackles Corner’ (which used to be home for the chickens), is a haven for birds of all sorts, as are the surrounding fields and hedges. Take a walk through the 13 acres of ‘Snapdown Wood’, home to badgers, foxes, buzzards and other wildlife. For your evening stroll, there are walks through the fields and woods on the 107 acre farm.
If you are very lucky (and quiet) you may spot some wild red Exmoor deer - a truly lovely sight, and at dawn and dusk you may spot a badger.
Of course, if you are walking with your dog, do please keep them under control as the fields do contain farm animals. If there are any cows and calves in a field, please be aware that the mums can be concerned that a dog might harm their calves. If you are at all concerned, just have a chat with us - Thanks.
